Dynamic Edge pledge to go greener

Dynamic Edge Solutions Ltd is committed to providing exceptional IT support and services to all our clients across the UK. As a socially and environmentally conscious organisation, we recognise the local and global impact of our operations. As such, we are continually striving to reduce our carbon footprint and are constantly looking into new ways to improve our environmental performance. Our end goal is to become a carbon negative organisation.

Dynamic Edge Solutions Ltd is committed to complying and exceeding, where possible, all environmental regulations and legislations. Furthermore, we encourage awareness, and promote ways to improve the carbon footprint of our employees, our clients, and our chosen suppliers.

As well as this, we consider ourselves a responsible and environmentally conscious company. We recognise the local and global impact of our operations. It is because of this, that we have decided to launch our own environmental committee.

The committee is made up of a group of volunteers from within our organization, with members coming from differing departments and levels within the business. Our monthly meetings have been ablaze with ideas on how to manage and better our carbon footprint, from gaining recognised certifications to running a ‘War on Watts’ style competition between DE offices. The goal of the committee to help shape Dynamic Edge, its employees, clients, and distributors to becoming more environmentally conscious.

It is because of the above that we have adopted a dynamic policy environmental policy to reflect our continual aim to improve our environmental performance with the goal of becoming carbon neutral. Below is our statement of implemented actions:

  • Reducing our consumption of raw materials by encouraging staff to walk / cycle to our offices and client site when possible.
  • Created a mandate going forward to invest solely in electric vehicles, utilising hybrid vehicles for when this is not feasible.
  • Implemented a ‘no-print’ policy, instead utilising digital and cloud solutions to communicate information.
  • Reducing the carbon impact of our offices by reducing our office space and embracing the hybrid workspace.
  • Investing in carbon offsetting strategies, such as planting a tree for every desktop / laptop that is sold through us.
  • Initiating the ‘donate-a-day’ policy, which allows employees to donate a day of work time to an environmental or charitable cause.
  • Partnering with ethical and responsible IT recycling firms to enable ourselves and our clients to safely dispose of obsolete hardware.
  • Ensuring that all our suppliers share our ambition to improve their environmental impact wit a string policy behind it.

As well as this, we consider ourselves a responsible and environmentally conscious company. We recognise the local and global impact of our operations. It is because of this, that we have decided to launch our own environmental committee.

The committee is made up of a bunch of volunteers from within our organization, with members coming from differing departments and levels within the business. Our monthly meetings have been ablaze with ideas on how to manage and better our carbon footprint, from gaining recognised certifications to running a ‘War on Watts’ style competition between DE offices.

One thing was decided though, we will not be merely laying out a static Environmental Policy. The ambition is to create a dynamic policy showing continued betterment which will lead us to carbon neutrality, and hopefully not too long in the future, carbon negativity. The goal of the committee to help shape Dynamic Edge, its employees, clients, and distributors to becoming more environmentally conscious.

This policy has the complete support of the staff at Dynamic Edge Solutions Ltd.
