Dynamic Edge helps to raise £6,500 for Highland Hospice in Donnie Fraser Memorial Event
A year on from the passing of Korrie founder and former Inverness Caley Thistle Director Donnie Fraser, some of the Dynamic Edge team have taken part in the inaugural “Donnie Fraser Memorial Trophy”. Competing in one of 18 teams of four on the day, the team took to the Castle Stuart Golf Links to help raise funds for Highland Hospice, which was a charity very close to the great man’s heart.
Since 1987, Highland Hospice have provided vital palliative care to patients with life limiting illnesses and who require specific treatment for difficult problems including pain and symptom control. The monies raised on the day have been committed to helping the Hospice’s local community in a number of ways, and planning has already begun for the 2018 Memorial Trophy
The Dynamic Edge team was made up of Rob Hamilton and Stephen Laurie with guests Robin Nairn and John MacLeod and although they did not quite rack up the impressive 101pts gained by 1st place Highland Insurance Brokers, they were honoured to be involved in what was a successful day in aid of a very worthwhile cause.
Robert Hamilton said “I met Donnie for the first time back in 2013; a highly respected business figure in the Highlands not only for his success in growing Korrie but also in his support for local charities and sport. It was an honour for Dynamic Edge to support this inaugural event for such a worthy cause and look forward to supporting it again in years to come.”
