Dynamic Edge Supporting Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail

The team at Dynamic Edge are proud to be supporting “Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail” by sponsoring one of the exclusive artist-designed sculptures of Oor Wullie – a Scottish comic book hero.

The Big Bucket Trail places iconic “Oor Wullie” art installations, designed by local artists, in locations all over Scotland for a period of 11 weeks. The project encourages members of the public to get out and about to find each unique variation, which have been sponsored by businesses across the country in support of three worthy causes – Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, and The Archie Foundation.

Dynamic Edge have sponsored the “Oor Gavin” variation, which was designed by artist Michael Small and is a representation of one of the most famous Scottish rugby players, Gavin Hastings. In a nice link, Gavin is also patron of London Scottish, who play in England’s RFU Championship and are also supported via sponsorship from Dynamic Edge.

Commenting on the support for the Trail, Dynamic Edge managing director Stuart Winterburn said: “The Oor Wullie Big Bucket Trail is the first nationwide public art installation ever to come to Scotland, and we were delighted to jump on board with sponsorship of the striking “Oor Gavin” installation.

With our offices in Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Stirling and Guildford we have a real Scottish presence, as well as our shared connection with Gavin Hastings himself who is a patron to London Scottish, who we also support south of the border.

We are proud to play a small part in a very worthwhile campaign benefiting three fantastic charities – in particular the Archie Foundation, who Dynamic Edge have been a long-term supporter of over the years.”

The “Oor Wullies” are around until 30 August 2019, so if you want to get a selfie with them all you’ll need to be fast! See all of them on the official Big Bucket Trail website, including the Dynamic Edge sponsored Oor Gavin which is located at the Aberdeen Sports Village Aquatic Centre. Happy trails!
