What is office365?
Office 365 enables Office applications and other productivity tools such as Lync web conferencing over the internet.

Why should I move to office365?
Office 365 is available on the cloud, yet also has the flexibility of integrating with your company’s On-Premises solutions if needs be. When your organization grows, you can simply pay for the additional services and data storage you need with the added piece of mind which is data protection and disaster recovery. Work from anywhere from any device with all apps available from one place.

Why should I move to the cloud?
Flexibility for businesses with growing bandwidth demands, robust disaster recovery, automated software updates, increased collaboration and work from anywhere.

Where is my data located?
Is it in the UK? Microsoft has designated regions for their Office 365 data. The local regional data centre is located in Dublin, Ireland. Your data is replicated across multiple Microsoft data centres around the world.

How safe is my data?
Extremely safe. Every measure is taken to ensure the integrity of your data. Data centres are under high security and monitored 24/7.

What is the cost per month?
I see it's £5 a month, why are you quoting £14? There are various packages available to subscribe to Microsoft Office 365. The £14/month subscription includes all the applications that are required to run in your business.

Is there a minimum length of subscription?
Office 365 plans are a 1 year contract, yet you may terminate the contract at any time.

How long will it take to set up?
Office 365 takes around one hour to install, depending on your internet connection speed.

Can I install Office on more than one device?
Yes, the product licence key that is supplied allows you to install Office 365 up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets or 5 phones.

Will it work with my mac/tablet/smart phone?
Office 365 is compatible with the Apple devices and other types of mobile device. This provides access to all features and services such as Outlook, One Note and Lync for online meetings.

Do I still need a server?
There is no need for a server as all files, email and business data can be stored within Office 365.

Why can't I migrate to Office 365 myself?
You can migrate to Office 365 by yourself however it’s a big step to take moving your data and email to the cloud and requires technical knowledge and experience. We advise all businesses no matter how small to get an expert to assist in the migration process.

Will I keep my contact list?
All contacts can be imported as part of the Office 365 setup.

I have an older version of Office - will my documents be compatible?
All older documents created in older versions will work with Office365.

What happens to my Office applications if I terminate my subscription?
If the subscription is terminated you get to keep all your data but won’t be able to edit documents in the copy of Word/Excel that was provided.

I have multiple members of staff using one PC - do I need a license per user or per device?
Office 365 can be used on up to 5 devices per user.

Why do I need Skype for Business - can’t I just use Skype?
Skype for Business lets you add up to 250 people to online meetings, provides you with enterprise-grade security and is integrated into your Office apps.
